The Civil RIghts Research Experience Comes to Arts Us!
This 10 year old ethnic studies experience has come to Arts Us! Participating Districts and organizations will engage in a 6-week institute, a 5 day multi-state tour, and a 1 month capstone project in the spring and Fall starting in 2019!
This year’s theme is … “And still I rise: Poetically Just-Us".” Youth will be documenting their learning through poetry and video with the help of local Spoken word artist Tish Jones of TruArtSpeaks and Videographer Bianca Rhodes of SPNN.
